Tournaments - Phase 3

Tournaments are the ultimate showdown of skill and competition on the platform. Multi-round PvP action with a single winner.

The tournament will begin at a set time, and participants must be readily available to avoid missing their turns. Depending on the game, players must either submit a score within a time-frame, or battle in PvP.

If the game is score-based, the winning player must submit a higher score than their counterpart to gain qualification.

Registration:

Participating players must register on the platform. During registration, players are required to stake x amount of coins.

Tournaments must have a minimum of 8 players, going to 16, 32, 64, 128 and so on. If a user registers after the final bracket, they will be refunded.

Game Selection and Bracketing:

Like a traditional tournament, players are placed in a starting bracket. If a player wins, they progress, being pitted against the winner of the bracket next to theirs.

Of course, winners of each matchup advance to the next round, while losers are eliminated from the tournament.

Pool and Reward Allocation:

The coins staked by participants will form a pool. At the end of the tournament, 92 percent goes to the winner, with 8 percent allocated to the platform.

Pay-outs:

Following the finale, the reward is distributed directly to the winner's balance. The winnings can then be swapped for $MMG tokens or used to participate in wagers on the platform.

Platform Maintenance and Development:

The platform fee collected throughout the tournament contributes to the platform's sustainability.

The revenue generated supports ongoing maintenance, updates, and organisation of future events.

Post-Tournament Feedback:

After each tournament, we will conduct a post-tournament analysis, gathering feedback from participants to improve future iterations.

Suggestions and insights from the community help refine the tournament structure, games selection, and overall user experience.
